Yamama Cement Factory needed to have major Oracle components implemented to improve it operation and IT reliability, SIGMA was entrusted to design and implement 2 Oracle Mini Clusters, Oracle ZFS storage, 2 Sparc T7 2 servers RAC DB and EBS upgrade
Yamama Cement has chosen SIGMA to perform such critical task to help improve the IT effectiveness and cater for a well-discipline supply chain and production control.
Yamama Cement Factory wanted to enhance its operational efficiency and IT reliability through the implementation of major Oracle components. Recognizing the significance of this initiative, Yamama Cement entrusted SIGMA with the responsibility to design and execute a comprehensive solution. The project entailed the implementation of two Oracle Mini Clusters, Oracle ZFS storage, as well as the deployment of two Sparc T7-2 servers for RAC DB, and an EBS upgrade.

- Install and Configure 2 MiniCluster S7 2.
- Install and Configure 22 Virtual Machines.
- Install and Configure Oracle ZFS Storage ZS5 2.
- Install and Configure 2 SPARC T7 2 Server.

- Configuring Oracle RAC on MiniCluster
- Preparing current production EBS to support Cloning to the new environment
- Migrating current EBS to the new environment
- Implementing Data Guard for the EBS database to snap clone DB and the DR site.
- Cloning the new migrated EBS to pre prod, uat , and dev environments.
- Configuring Backup for the production environment.
- Implement Data Guard for the pre prod, UAT, and dev environments
- Testing common restore scenarios for the production environment.
- Testing and Handover.
ARO Drilling

ARO Drilling, a leading offshore drilling contractor with a fleet of high-specification premium jack-up rigs in Saudi Arabia, places paramount importance on a secure and robust database.
Given ARO's heavy reliance on IT and technology, maintaining a database with the highest level of security is imperative to support their operations effectively.
ARO Drilling opted for SIGMA's services owing to their exceptional consulting capabilities and strong technology implementation track record. ARO had a pressing need to assess its current database, enhance its security measures, and ensure high availability. Leveraging SIGMA's extensive expertise in Oracle Database and Oracle Audit Vault and Firewall, the project was executed with remarkable success.
The newly fortified database, boasting the highest levels of security, has empowered ARO to place greater reliance on its IT infrastructure. This enhancement enables ARO to provide more automated services while also harnessing the full potential of its accumulated data for further operational benefits.
