AL Tayyar Travel Agency is a leader in its business and its IT and automation is crucial to its offered services. Al Tayyar embarked on an initiative to reduce cost and improve availability and uptime through the installation of Oracle Database solutions. SIGMA was entrusted to carry out the project and help AL-Tayyar to improve their IT operation and availability.
Al Tayyar Travel Agency, a trailblazer in its industry, recognizes the paramount importance of its IT and automation systems in delivering top-notch services to its clients. To bolster its operational efficiency and ensure uninterrupted availability of its critical services, Al Tayyar initiated a strategic endeavor. - Installing ODA base on Oracle database appliance X6 2 HA for HQ
- Migration of all DBs from Exadata to ODA
- Installing Oracle DB EE one on ODA
- Installing ODA Base on Oracle Database Appliance X6
- Testing and Handover.

ENGAGEMENT GOALS & OBJECTIVES
EXTRA, the retail mega store specializing in appliances and a wide range of IT and mobile equipment, recognizes the importance of its IT infrastructure and services. To further enhance its capabilities, EXTRA has undertaken an assessment of its IT storage infrastructure. This initiative aims to expand the storage capacity to accommodate additional automation processes and introduce extra services for the benefit of its valued customers.
SIGMA was chosen to lead the assessment of EXTRA’s current storage infrastructure, the necessary expansion plans, and the critical data migration from existing storage to the new storage. This engagement demanded a profound grasp of EXTRA’s present and future storage needs, as well as a methodical approach to seamlessly transfer data to the newly expanded storage.
We take great pride in being selected as the technology implementor for this project, which stands as a testament to SIGMA's expertise in both consulting and implementation.

- Conduct a thorough review and assessment for the current storage and environment as well as the analysis of the expansion required according to the client’s future automation and services planning.
- Design and Implement the “Pure Storage” storage solution
- Perform all required testing and post implementation quality assurance
- Plan the data migration to the newly implemented storage expansion
- Perform the data migration.
