·        Data ONTAP Fundamentals (DOTF)

Course Content

·        Explain and Identify common components of the Common Internet FileSystem (CIFS)

·        Create, configure, and manage CIFS shares, groups, and permissions

·        Implement auto home share on the storage system/DC

·        Describe and implement event and file auditing procedures

·        Describe On Access Virus Scanning and configuration for sampleimplementation

·        Appraise an organizations quota requirements and design anappropriate configuration

·        Apply basic concepts for moving and restoring ACLs

·        Measure and graph CIFS performance using smb_hist and sysstatcommands

·        Review & identify potential performance issues given StorageAppliance statistics

·        Check network-related performance statistics and identify possiblecourses of action

·        Collect data to assist with troubleshooting hardware, operatingsystems, and applications

·        Investigate, identify, troubleshoot, and implement solutions in aCIFS environment
